CarnaudMetalbox, renowned for its World Class Performance (WCP) programs, is a manufacturing company which specializes in packaging manufacturing. It was founded (in Zimbabwe) in 1958. It is formerly Metalbox CA (Central Africa). The company later merged with Carnaud to become CarnaudMetalbox.

In 1995 CarnaudMetalbox merged with Crown Cork & Seal to form one of the world’s largest packaging company. In 2002 Nampak, headquartered in South Africa, acquired Crown Cork’s operations in Africa, including CMB.

CMB Zimbabwe has got two plants which are ISO 9001: 2015 certified. These are: the Metal Packaging Plant, and the Plastic Packaging Plant.
